Booking Training – Somerset Courses (for online courses – see below)

Please follow these steps in order to book your training direct from this website.

• Check for more information by selecting “More Info”
• To book, select “Book Online”. The page will show if spaces are available on the Course.
• Select “Book Now”
• Select “Proceed to Checkout”
• Complete all sections of the Request Form marked with an asterisk *
• Select “Place Order”
• You will receive an e-mail confirmation. (If not received, please check your SPAM as receipt may be dependent on your computer settings).
• Closer to the day of the training you will receive any final instructions.

Other Information

• Details of the Course Director for each course are on the individual course page.
• If you cannot make a course, please advise the Course Director.
• Please try and arrive in time for the published start.
• Check the individual course information for additional items such as parking etc.
• Some training materials may be provided on the course but most of the support information is on the Training pages within the Somerset Scouts Website.
• Uniform is not required on any course unless advised in the instructions.
• Refreshments are provided but not lunch or any other meals unless specified.
• If you have any questions about your training, contact your Training Adviser or Local Training Manager.
• If you have any questions about the Course, contact the Course Director.
• A certificate of attendance is provided electronically after the course takes place.
• You will also receive a short on-line survey which asks just a few questions about the course attended.

Booking Training – Virtual Online Courses

Somerset Scouts are making details available but cannot guarantee that a place can be secured. You will need to book with the host County direct. Details and links will be shown for each virtual course.

For administration purposes please can you also advise Somerset County Training after you have secured a place. This will help monitor the use of this source and update your Compass record / advise your training adviser once the training has been completed.
