Explorer Scout Young Leader Training – Module K (First Aid) – Saturday 7th February 2026

Somerset County Programme Team are offering the following Module, part of the Explorer Scout Young Leader training on Saturday 7th February 2026 at 5th/7th City of Wells Scout Group HQ, Kennion Road, Wells

MODULE K   –  First Aid Masterclass

This is an all day course, and you are asked to arrive at 09:15 for a prompt start. Please wear your necker and activity clothes for the day. The course will finish at 16:30

This opportunity is free for Somerset Explorer Scout Young Leaders however, it is financed by Somerset County Scouts. In the case of late cancelled or a no show, we may invoice your Scout Group/Unit for the recovery of the place cost. Applications are welcome from all those taking part in the Young Leaders Scheme.

Refreshments (hot / cold drinks, and biscuits) will be available. This is an all-day module; lunch is not provided so please be self-sufficient. There are limited shopping facilities within the area.

This course is normally very popular, so early booking is recommended as places are limited to an absolute maximum of 18.

Booking secures you a place which is held for five days to allow you to complete and return the Consent Health & Wellbeing Form . Only when this is fully completed will the place be confirmed.

Places are limited to 18. Once the course is “full” you will be able to leave your details to be added to a reserve list and be contacted should a place be available. The reserve list will be contacted in chronological order.
