Are you interested in being part of our journey to Korea in 2023?
We’re so excited that Somerset has been allocated three patrols to become part of the UK Contingent to the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea during 2023 joining more than 40,000 Scouts from all over the world.
Our patrols are more than just travel buddies, they are planners, workers, learners, enthusiasts, fundraisers, motivators and supporters. We’ve got a lot to achieve in a short time but we’ll leap at the challenge as we… Think Big. Dream Wild. Act Together.
We now have our County Contingent Leadership Team together. Now, it’s time to look for young people who are interested in joining us. To be eligible to attend in 2023 you will need to be between 14 and 18 at the time of the Jamboree in August 2023 (you must be born between 22nd July 2005 and 31st July 2009).

Young People Selection
Wow, nearly 100 young people have applied for a place and attended out first Selection Day at Huish Woods on Sunday 7th November. With only 27 places available the WSJ leadership team are now looking over the data and applications so that they can advise the applicants if they have been successful.
WE WILL BE IN TOUCH SOON.
