The Scout Association award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.
To support adults in Scouting, the Association provides a comprehensive programme of training to build on existing skills and knowledge and develop new competencies. Some elements of training can count towards externally recognised qualifications or membership to professional bodies such as the Institute of Leadership & Management.
The Somerset County Training Team provides quality training opportunities through its team of dedicated volunteers. Their roles are not only to deliver or facilitate the training but provide guidance and support throughout the learning journey.
