Somerset Module 36 – Additional Needs

We all want to do our best to support and include young people with additional needs in Somerset Scouting.  It is important that we are properly prepared to do so.  Somerset county are leading the way in developing and providing some really useful new training to support you.  This training will help you to plan in advance, make reasonable adjustments and deliver a fantastic, inclusive programme.  The new module is suitable for anyone working with young people and for those managing / supporting adult volunteers. It will be delivered by Somerset volunteers who have particular professional expertise in this field. Refreshments will be provided.

The training is currently available on the following dates and venues:

Tuesday 5th February 2019 (7.15 – 9.30pm)
Tangier Scout & Guide Centre, Castle Street, Taunton, TA1 4AS

Thursday 28th February 2019 (7.15 – 9.30pm)
Charlton Musgrove Memorial Hall, Shalford Lane, Charlton Musgrove, Wincanton BA9 8HF
