Jack and the Beanstalk

Performing arts, gang show and panto are special parts of our varied Scouting programme. Many of our Beaver Colonies, Cub Packs, Scout Troops (and even some Explorers) enjoy an annual trip to the pantomime at Christmas. As December approaches, it is sad to think that Covid-19 has scuppered all of our plans for a seasonal visit to the theatre. But…… OH NO IT HASN’T!!

Former Chief Scout & Blue Peter presenter, Peter Duncan, has decided to use his own ‘giant’ back garden to film JACK AND THE BEANSTALK – a socially distanced pantomime complete with ingenious sets, fabulous costumes… and even a real beanstalk!

And here is the best news – ITS FREE !! Somerset Scouts are thrilled to announce that we’ve bought tickets for every Group in Somerset to watch ‘Jack & the Beanstalk’ – all from the safety of our homes.

Groups who registered by the deadline will receive their viewing code direct from the Pantomime Company.
