County Squirrel Scout Fun Day 2024

Date:                      Sunday 12th May 2024

Location:             Cowslip Ln, Hewish, Banwell, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 6AH

Time:                    Arrive for a 10am start – groups can be booked in at the main entrance from 9.45am. The day will finish at 4.00pm

Cost:                      £13.00 per Squirrel which includes a Squirrel Day badge to wear on your uniform. Leaders are free of charge at a ratio of 1:4 Squirrels.

Any additional leaders/young leaders will need to pay an admission fee of £13.00.

Home Contact:  All Dreys need to arrange their own InTouch system.

All Squirrels and leaders need to wear full uniform and/or a group t-shirt and scarf, bring a packed lunch, drink and coat. There is time allocated to spend in the shop and a maximum of £8.00 spending money has been suggested.

First aid facilities are provided but it would be advisable to bring a small/travel kit with you to deal with any minor incidents. Leaders will be responsible for their Drey’s health forms and should have them during the visit.

The County programme team will be taking photos at the event to promote Scouting, these will be published on the Somerset Scout County website, and social media pages, if any of your Squirrels are unable to have photos taken please identify them on the booking form (below).
