County Squirrel Scout Fun Day 2022

Date: 15th May 2022 Location: Huish Woods Scout Campsite, West Hatch, Taunton,

Here is the information for the County Squirrel Scout Fun Day being held this year at Huish Woods on Sunday 15th May.

Time:      Arrive for a 11am start.   The day will finish at 3.00pm

Cost:       £8.50 per Squirrel which includes a Squirrel Day badge to wear on your uniform.

Leaders and young leaders are free of charge.

Parents/Carers are welcome and will be charged £2.50.

Home Contact   All Squirrel Dreys will need to arrange their own In Touch system.

All Squirrels and leaders need to wear full uniform and/or a group t-shirt and scarf. Please bring a packed lunch, drink and coat.

We will be running 3 zones: Craft, Woodland and Games.  If you are able to offer and support running any of these please let me know.

There is time allocated to spend in the shop and a maximum of £5 spending money has been suggested.

Teas and Coffees will be available though out the day at a small cost.  These will be provided by some of our Scouts who are raising money for their Jamboree trip to South Korea.

First aid facilities are provided but it would be advisable to bring a small/travel kit with you to deal with any minor incidents.  Leaders will be responsible for completing the health form of the young people during the visit.

Please also make payment covering the £8.50 cost for each Squirrel  (plus £2.50 for any adults excluding Leaders and young leaders) by Sunday 30th April 2022.
