County Explorer Scout Young Leader Training March 2025

Somerset County Programme Team are holding an Explorer Scout Young Leader Weekend on 29th and 30th March at Huish Woods Scout Campsite. The format of the weekend will be similar to previous weekends, during which the following Young Leader Modules will be delivered

Module D – Understanding Behaviour                           Module E– Game on !

Module G – What is a high quality programme ?          Module H – Programme Planning

In addition, we will be running a number of other fun and interesting activities.

• Arrival (Saturday 29th) at 09:30 in uniform please
• Departure (Sunday 30th) around 15:30

The cost for the weekend is £ 20 per attendee and this includes all meals. You will need to supply and pitch your own tent(s) as accommodation for this weekend is outdoors.

Places are strictly limited to 30.

Places are only secured after reservation, upon receipt of a fully completed Consent, Health & Wellbeing Form together with payment of the fee for the weekend. The Consent / Health Form is downloadable from the County Webpage. Places will be held for five days after reservation after which it will be released for other prospective attendees.
