Skills for Residential Experiences – Practical (38b)

Module 38 is not required to complete your Wood Badge however, it does provide you with the appropriate skills to plan and run successful residential experiences for the young people in your section.

This is the practical weekend which follows on from the Theory Day (Module 38a) and runs from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. You should be on-site throughout this time.

The weekend will be based at Huish Woods Scout Campsite, West Hatch

Please note, if you wish to attend the Residential Weekend at Huish Woods, you MUST complete the Theory Day – Module 38a (25th September 2022) as it will include all the planning elements and steps for this weekend. You need to have booked that course separately.

You will also be given details, at the Theory Day of what equipment is required, times and any other information that you will need for the residential element of the training.
