Module 38 is not required to complete your Wood Badge however, it does provide you with the appropriate skills to plan and run successful residential experiences for the young people in your section.

- Health and safety
- Equipment and practical skills
The course is split into two elements; this Theory Day which is followed up by a Practical Weekend at Huish Woods Campsite, West Hatch, Taunton (Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th October).
The Theory Day will also cover all aspects that would be required to complete Module 16 (Introduction to Residential Experiences) so, if you require that Module for your Wood Badge, the learning will be incorporated. The day however, covers much more than just the Module 16 content.
Please note, if you wish to attend the Residential Weekend at Huish Woods, you MUST complete the Theory Day as it will include all the planning elements and steps for that weekend.
- This is not a virtual Course but being held at Tangier Scout & Guide HQ
- Please do not park in front of Tangier building but use the public car park opposite. It is free on a Sunday.
