Meeting the Challenges (Managers & Supporters only)

PLEASE NOTE, THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO AND REQUIRED BY THOSE WITH A MANAGEMENT ROLE (GROUP SCOUT LEADER, DISTRICT COMMISSIONER, DISTRICT EXPLORER SCOUT COMMISSIONER, COUNTY COMMISSIONER ASU MANAGER) OR SUPPORTER ( YOUTH COMMISSIONER, ASSISTANT DISTRICT COMMISSIONER, ASSISTANT COUNTY COMMISSIONER, TRAINING MANAGER). IF IN DOUBT, CONTACT YOUR TRAINING ADVISER OR LOCAL TRAINING MANAGER.

This Skills course aims to provide Managers and Supporters with the tools they need in order to carry out their role effectively and support others in doing the same. It will allow learners to build upon knowledge gained from the Independent Learning and apply this to real life Scouting situations. It identifies places where further information and support can be found. The material in this course will strongly support the validation requirements for your Wood Badge.

Manager & Supporter Skills Courses are delivered across the South West Region and this Course is being hosted by Devon Scouts and delivered virtually over three evenings as follows:

Monday 24th January    19:00 – 21:00

Monday 31st January     19:00 – 21:00

Monday 1st February      19:00 – 21:00

PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST ATTEND ALL THREE SESSIONS.
